Passive house 127 m²

The 1-storey individual residential building with a total area of 127 sq.m. Is planned according to the principles of a passive house with an orientation to the south. The layout of the house is designed with exits to the terrace from almost all rooms, which makes it possible for everyone to gather not only inside the house, but also on the terrace under the rays of the sun.

The layout of the house:

  • Children's room (12.55 m2)
  • Living room (28.96 m2)
  • Kitchen (12.16 m2)
  • Bathroom (1.88 m2)
  • Corridor (5.68 m2)
  • Bathroom-2(4.78 m2)
  • Bedroom (19.44 m2)
  • Technical room (6.16 m2)

Features:

  • Energy efficiency. The main characteristic of this project is high energy efficiency. The building requires virtually no energy for heating, and there is no need for air conditioning.
  • Heating and hot water.

1. Main heat: the natural passive use of sunlight passing through the windows of the southern facade.
2. Secondary heat: warm walls.
3. The third source: the stove.
It is possible to install 2 panels (2m x 1m) with a total area of 4 sq.m. on the roof, which provide hot water for the kitchen and bathroom, as well as heating pipes for warm walls.

  • A three-dimensional solution. Also, to achieve energy efficiency, this house has a compact shape. This minimizes the perimeter of the heated and cooled area.  The roof shape is single-pitched at an angle of≥ 3°. This slope is sufficient for precipitation to drain slowly, but at the same time, the applied layer for landscaping the roof remains stable.
  • Landscaping. The plot is actively used as a vegetable garden for growing fruits, vegetables and flowers for personal use.
