A 2-storey individual residential building with a total area of 150 sq.m. designed for a large family. In addition to the living room and kitchen, it has 3 bedrooms and a work room. It is planned according to the principles of a passive house with an orientation to the south. The living room and kitchen are designed with access to the terrace, which gives a sense of interaction with the entire plot.
The layout of the house:
- Guest bedroom (9.6 m2)
- Living room (31.04 m2)
- Kitchen (14.23 m2)
- Bathroom (2.26 m2)
- Master bedroom (23.86 m2)
- Bathroom (5.57 m2)
- Children's room 1 (15.88 m2)
- Children's room 2 (14.12 m2)
- Hall (8,32 m2)
Features:
- Energy efficiency. The main characteristic of this project is high energy efficiency. The building requires virtually no energy for heating, and there is no need for air conditioning.
- Thermal insulation. The project uses eco–friendly thermal insulation - the walls, floor and ceiling are insulated with adobe bales, which meets the standards of a passive house. This design ensures low heat loss: heat transfer coefficients are 0.15 W/m2K for walls, 0.19 W/m2K for the floor and 0.29 W/m2K for the ceiling, which makes it possible to effectively keep warm in winter and cool in summer.
- Glazing. Energy-efficient double-glazed windows are provided in the house to minimize heat loss. They have high thermal insulation properties, which helps to maintain a comfortable microclimate without additional costs for heating and air conditioning.
- Ventilation. The ventilation system is based on heat recuperators, which allow you to keep warm with fresh air. This significantly reduces energy consumption, ensuring a healthy indoor climate without significant heat loss.
- Tightness. Special attention is paid to the protection of the building from air leaks. The nodal connections have been worked out in detail in the project, eliminating the depressurization of the structure, which contributes to additional energy efficiency and comfort of living.
- Exclusion of thermal bridges. Special components are provided in the design to prevent the formation of thermal bridges – zones with increased heat loss. This ensures an even distribution of heat throughout the house and minimizes the risks of condensation and dampness.
