A competition among hospitality facilities to receive technical support from professionals in the implementation of energy and resource efficient technologies based on energy audits

Today, on June 7, within the framework of the project to promote energy and resource efficiency in the tourism industry of Kyrgyzstan (PERETO), a series of training sessions on the topic "Implementation of sustainable production and consumption measures for the development of the tourism sector in Kyrgyzstan" began. The participants are the regional consultants of the PERETO project, whose work will be aimed at promoting issues of sustainable consumption and production, as well as energy and resource efficiency in tourism.

On September 9, the PERETO project (Promotion of Energy and Resource Efficient Technologies in the tourism industry of Kyrgyzstan) held its first event, an introductory seminar.

On December 5, 2017, a round table was held on the topic: "Development of voluntary certification as an Environmental Conservation Tool", organized by the UNDP BIOFIN Biodiversity Conservation Initiative in partnership with the CSR Central Asia Corporate Development Agency.

In April 2017, another information campaign on green skills training will be launched in 30 settlements of the Chui region.Educational events are held within the framework of the project "Green Skills training in rural areas of the Chui region, G-STAR", funded by Helvetas Swiss Intercooperation and implemented by Unison Group together with AVEP, AMETiS and SEEVA.
