On 18-19 June 2026, Bishkek hosted Energy Expo Kyrgyzstan - SCO 2026, the International Exhibition of Technologies, Equipment and Infrastructure Solutions for the Energy Sector. Organized within the framework of the Kyrgyz Republic’s chairmanship in the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO), the event served as one of the key platforms for discussing energy security, sustainable development, and the deployment of innovative technologies.
More than 40 companies from Kyrgyzstan, China, Russia, India, Belarus, Türkiye, and Vietnam participated in the exhibition. The exposition showcased a broad range of sectors, including renewable energy, hydropower, electrical equipment, energy infrastructure design and construction, as well as advanced energy efficiency solutions.
The exhibition also hosted the Meeting of Energy Ministers of the SCO member states, bringing together ministers, senior officials, business representatives, financial institutions, international organizations, and industry leaders. The Kyrgyz Republic was represented by Minister of Energy Altynbek Rysbekov.
During the exhibition, the UNISON Group team presented the organization’s initiatives in energy efficiency, renewable energy, sustainable development, climate policy, and green finance. Over the course of two days, experts engaged with visitors, exchanged experience with industry professionals and partners, and discussed opportunities for implementing innovative solutions aimed at enhancing the resilience of the energy sector.
Participation in the exhibition provided an important opportunity to strengthen existing partnerships, establish new connections, and expand cooperation with government institutions, the private sector, international organizations, and the expert community. Visitors showed particular interest in practical energy efficiency solutions, climate resilience measures, and innovative approaches supporting the transition to a green economy.
Energy Expo Kyrgyzstan - SCO 2026 once again demonstrated the importance of collaboration among governments, businesses, international partners, and civil society in achieving sustainable development goals and ensuring energy security.
UNISON Group extends its sincere appreciation to the organizers, partners, and everyone who visited our stand. We believe that the ideas, connections, and agreements established during the exhibition will contribute to the development of new initiatives and joint projects promoting energy-efficient and climate-resilient solutions in Kyrgyzstan and the wider region.
We look forward to new meetings and future cooperation.
