The Unison Group team conducted a full energy audit and prepared a feasibility study for the repair of social facilities in the country's regions.

So, on April 29, President of Unison Group Nurzat Abdyrasulova and engineer of Unison Group Salavat Soronbayev participated in the signing of trilateral agreements between the program of the Agency for Community Development and Investment of the Kyrgyz Republic (ARIS), akims of districts and the management of 6 buildings selected within the framework of the project in Naryn, Jalal-Abad and Issyk-Kul regions.

These are: the district territorial hospital of S. Baetovo, secondary schools No. 1 named after T.Moydunov S.Makmal, No. 89 named after P.Zhumanazarov S.Chymchyk-Zhar, No. 15 named after A.Mukanov S.Baizak, gymnasium school named after Tursunbaeva S.Chaek and kindergarten “Zhanyl-Myrza" S.Lenin.

"Socially significant objects play an important role in the life of any state, especially in the development of regions. Because the health, education, and future of our citizens depend on their activities. Therefore, Unison Group considers it its duty to work to improve conditions in the social infrastructure and promote the principles of energy conservation, which is an important condition for the development of the domestic economy," Nurzat Abdyrasulova said.

During the meeting, the results of the inspection of the premises for compliance with energy efficiency were announced. "The same problems were identified in all rooms, the internal conditions of the rooms during the heating period do not meet the standards. The unsatisfactory condition of the enclosing structures, i.e. the destroyed facades of the building, large cracks in the windows. Many buildings were built in the 70s, where the roof was leaking, there was dampness, lack of ventilation, in addition, the buildings do not comply with lighting requirements," Salavat Soronbayev said.

According to him, it was decided to carry out comprehensive thermal insulation of buildings - insulation of walls, floors, ceilings, replacement of heating and lighting systems, and an additional water-saving system. "We have added new technologies – solar collectors for hot water production. According to sanitary standards for schools, hot water is needed in the bathrooms and in the kitchen for washing dishes. And the new lighting system will provide the required illumination, which affects the eyesight of schoolchildren. As a result, the energy efficiency of all rooms will reach class B," the expert noted.

In addition, seismic reinforcement of the buildings will also be carried out, which will increase their service life by another 50 years. Shotcrete of buildings will be carried out, that is, the walls will be reinforced with reinforcement and reinforced with concrete mortar.

Thus, 1 district hospital, 1 kindergarten and 4 schools will undergo a complete energy renovation, i.e. major repairs will be carried out taking into account seismic enhancement and energy efficiency within the framework of the Heat Supply Improvement Project (PUT) with the support of ARIS, funded by the World Bank and the Swiss State Secretariat for Economic Relations (SESO).

It should be noted that a tender is expected to be held soon for the design and repair of social facilities. In general, the implementation of energy-efficient modernization according to the recommendations of the Unison Group will help save up to 60-70% of energy.

This energy audit of social projects was carried out as part of the second cycle of similar projects. In the first cycle, Unison Group experts conducted a feasibility study of 8 buildings in other regions of the republic together with partners from RINA Consulting (Italy).
